By Jennifer Scharmann This is a basket pattern-=-not a finished basket. This is a fun tote to make and is great for beginner level as the instructions and diagrams are very well done. While the basket is still wet, you "push" in the back with your knee so it will hang comfortably at your hip. Uses two yards of 1" shaker tape for the strap. I stenciled pinecones right onto the front of my tote and it came out really nice. Base is 3" x 8 1/2" and weaving height is 9 1/2". Uses: 3/4" Flat, 1/4" Flat, 3/8" Flat, 5/8" Flat Ova ( rims), rim filler - # 5 round reed or seagrass(optional) |
