By Brianne Feldpausch This is a basket pattern- instructions to weave the basket shown; not a finished basket. This is another nice beginner level basket, woven on a 3 x 6" D handle. This would be a nice basket to teach a class also. Also nice as a gift basket filled with candies, cookies, or bath & body luxuries. Dimensions are: base is 4 1/2" x 3", height with handle is 6", height without handle is 3 1/2". Rows of dyed reed are added for color, but always remember dyed reed is optional. If you choose to dye a few strands of reed, we offer basketry dye specifically for use with reed or wood strips. Materials for this basket: #2 Round, 3/8" Flat- natural & dyed, 3/8" Flat Oval, 1/4" Flat Oval, 1/4" Flat-dyed, 3/16" Flat, 3 x 6" D handle, narrow binder cane, seagrass for rim filler and a small heart buckle.
