This design evolved from a "shopper" basket that Dianne saw at the Boston Children's Museum several years ago. It was identified as "Penobscot" in origin. Dyed weaver accents and shaker tape handles were later added. Uses approximately 3 yards of 1" shaker tape, available below. Uses" 3/4" Flat, 7mm Flat Oval or 1/4" Flat Oval, 3/8" or 1/2" Flat dyed weavers, 1/2" Flat Oval ( rims). |
